“Some will love you because they think you’re beautiful. Others will think you’re beautiful because they love you. The right one will just love you—beautifully,” said the idiot who had no experience in the real world moments before he was run over by a double-decker bus.

“I love you,” he said.“ I love you, too,” he said back. “I love you more” he teased. “I love you even more” he said, blushing, and to be honest, growing impatient with this. “Stop copying me,” he boasted. “That’s not even the right verb for what you just said” he thought to himself, but he was thinking it as though he were someone else, far away, in India perhaps, waiting in line at the deli. Not necessarily in Delhi. So here’s this man amusing himself by flirting with himself and feeling weirded out by himself, punning, japing, and finally saying “Enough!” But at this point in the conversation no one was listening.
